So many of y’all ask me how I always come up with a different healthy breakfast to make, but honestly sometimes I just stay on repeat...

RASPBERRY COLLAGEN OATMEAL 🍓
1/2 cup steel cut oats (boiled on stove; I boil a whole batch at the beginning on the week and disperse it throughout! makes things so easy in the morning!)
1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen peptides mixed in (for protein) 
1 handful of raspberries
1 tbsp creamy PB (for fast & some protein) 
1 tsp local honey drizzled on top
and sometimes I like to add other fun things! Today it’s @bobsredmill apple blueberry granola sprinkled on top!

Petite idée de repas de la flemme again... ces temps je cours partout pour des rendez-vous, mes entraînements à la salle et plein de trucs... alors certains jours je n'ai pas le temps ni l'envie de faire trop compliqué pour mes repas. On remets ça avec des tartines ! Simple, bon, efficace, rassasiant et satisfaisant... tout ce que l'ont peut attendre d'un repas rapide ! 👌

Pour cette fois, je vous propose des toasts sans gluten (aux céréales, marque Schär) garnis d'une salade de crevettes cocktail et saumon fumé que j'ai mélangé avec de la mayonnaise light, des graines de sésame noir, un peu d'oignon et d'ail, du piment et du jus de citron !

Ensuite, sur mes toasts, j'ai disposé de fines rondelles de concombre, des tranches d'avocat et ma salade. Pour amener un peu de croquant et de fraicheur, j'ai choisi d'accompagner le tout de salade roquette, que j'aime d'amour !

You can’t put excess carbs (or calories!) ‘back’, once they’re eaten and assimilated, from earlier in the day.
However, you can add them in later on, if necessary.

Whaaa?🤔 Currently, if I don’t weight train I don’t need as much fuel for the day. Keeping protein high and increasing fats I also reduce my carb intake to a minimal amount. This is mainly achieved by going without them until later in the day. If I get to he evening and I’ve been more active than I expected or am concerned my sleep might be affected I can THEN add some carbs back in.

You can’t undo what you’ve done⛔️

My #lsnreview of @everestsnacks #porridge quickies. Thanks to @leydenssportsnutrition and @lsnreviews for the freebies. .

I wasn't that fond of the last flavour of these that I tried a while back but these were a marked improvement for me. This flavour ( #coconut #strawberry #cranberry and #blueberry ) was much nicer and the texture was certainly better. I like my porridge a bit runnier so had to add more than the suggested amount of milk but that's OK. The #macros also seemed to be a bit better in comparison to my normal porridge which was good. See pic for full macros. Whilst the pots are handy for on the go, it is still a novelty item to me and not one of buy a lot off but based on this flavour is certainly keep a couple in store just incase. Also, unrelated, but the Everest protein bars are class. .

High fibre day before weigh in day tomorrow. I think I might be a little obsessed with the scales but if you not under eating, abusing laxatives or dehydrating yourself and having healthy meals you enjoy there’s nothing wrong with that. The only concern is the influx of carbs which potentially hold water however I haven’t looked into any research regarding this and maybe an equal influx of water could prevent any excessive retention. .

Cheesebuns

Ingredients:
1 cup shredded mozzarella
½ cup parmesan (grated or shredded)
1 egg

Directions:
Combine all ingredients.
Season to your liking.
Divide into 4 mounds (for cheesebuns) or 1 mound (for pizza dough).
Bake 350°F for 15-20 minutes.

😍 Low calorie choc heaven: 124 KCAL each

INGREDIENTS
Makes 10
1/2 cup oat flour
1/3 cup coconut flour 
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
2 egg whites
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt 
1 medium banana
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp baking soda 
2 tsp stevia
3 tbsp mini choc chips

PREPARATION 
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together. 
3. In a food processor | by hand mix the dry ingredients (except choc chips) with the wet ingredients until incorporate. 
4. Stir in 2 tbsp of the choc chips. 
5. Spray muffin tin with oil and fill wells 3/4 of the way.  I used muffin liners but the muffins stuck to them. I would just put them right in the muffin tin, make sure you use cooking spray. Top with remaining choc chips. 
6. Bake for 20 minutes. Enjoy!🍪❤️

Because 50-degree rainy May days call for that kind of cozy (where are yoooou, spring? 😭). -

There’s an updated step-by-step tutorial for the creamy cauliflower garlic sauce in my stories (answered many of your common questions), but here’s the abbreviated version: it’s as easy as steam (the cauliflower) blend (the ingredients — there are only five of them), pour (on your pasta...or straight into your mouth 😛) and store (it keeps for about three days in the fridge, so it makes a great meal-prep). It’s also dairy-free, vegan, and paleo and keto-friendly 🙌🏻☺️.

I love cottage cheese because it’s extremely versatile and can serve as a healthy cheese substitute in all kinds of recipes (from dips to lasagna - I have a recipe for healthy lasagna with cottage cheese and it’s delicious) 🤩 
I usually eat it for breakfast but it can also serve as a great late night snack 👍🏼 Breakfast details: one whole wheat toast with cottage cheese (half of it topped with avocado chunks and the other with cress), one fried egg and fresh cherry tomatoes. Quick and healthy 😍🤗 And really delicious. 
The full meal was 402 calories with 23P, 33C and 20F. Gave me lots of energy for the whole day. Happy Friday guys!! 😘

Keto Breakfast Sausage & Guac Stacks

Ingredients (makes 2 servings) 
Quick Guacamole:
1 medium avocado (150 g/ 5.3 oz)

1/2 small white or yellow onion, chopped (35 g/ 1.2 oz)

2 tbsp fresh lime juice (30 ml/ 1 fl oz)

salt and pepper to taste

Stacks:
ghee for frying (about 1-2 tbsp)

170 g gluten-free (Italian) sausage meat (6 oz)

2 large eggs

salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Prepare the quick guacamole. Halve the avocado and scoop into a bowl. Add the lime juice, onion, salt and pepper. Mash using a fork and set aside.

Heat a pan greased with half of the ghee over a medium heat. Using your hands, create small patties from the sausage meat. Place on the pan and cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes. Flip on the other side and cook for 1-2 more minutes and set aside.

Grease the pan with the remaining ghee and crack in the eggs. Cook until the egg whites are cooked through and the egg yolks are still runny. If you use an egg mold like this one, make sure to lower the heat, as it will take longer to cook through.

When done, top each patty with the prepared guacamole and fried egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste and eat immediately. Meal-prep tip: You can prepare the guacamole and fry the sausage patties in advance and keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Serve with fried or poached egg.
