“I got it from my mama.” 🍑🍑 Bootiful momma Frosty and her joey call @visitsunshinecoast’s @australiazoo home, where they spend their days sleeping, eating, and looking absolutely fabulous. This iconic @queensland zoo offers many animal encounter experiences, including the opportunity to hold and cuddle a #koala! It’s a great time to visit now as koala joey season is in full swing, so keep an eye out and you just might spot some new family members who recently emerged from their mum’s pouches.
@tourismtopend is looking gorgeous with its gorges. 💙 @danirayofsunshine enjoyed a top view in @ausoutbacknt’s #NitmilukNationalPark, which has 13 gorges carved from ancient sandstone, and can be explored on foot, by canoe, boat or helicopter. A three-hour drive from #Darwin, you can book guided tours with @nitmiluktours, @aatkings and @kakaduair to experience different parts of the park. Don’t go past a canoe tour along the gorges to see waterfalls, Aboriginal rock art and wildlife, and a scenic flight for an aerial view of the expansive system.
Did you picture clear waterways tucked between sandstone formations when you thought of #Outback Australia? 🤯 @mrcourtneyatkinson recently paddled through @outbackqueensland’s #CobboldGorge, where this breathtaking oasis has been around for millions of years. A 6.5-hour drive from #Cairns, access to this ancient gorge in @queensland is by guided tour with @cobboldgorge only, options include walking, SUP, helicopter, cruising, or a multi-day package that includes multiple tours. The Cobbold Village also offers accommodation from camping to ensuite cabins, so definitely stay for a few nights to explore more of this natural wonder.
When you take ‘rise and shine’ literally. 🎈 Aside from the slightly early alarm clock, starting your day with a @globalballooningaustralia hot air balloon flight has many perks. There aren’t many major cities where you can fly directly over the CBD; @visitmelbourne’s skyscrapers certainly make this experience extra special. While you’re up in the sky, start planning where you want to visit afterwards as you float by iconic #Melbourne attractions like @MCG, @eureka_skydeck and @royalbotanicgardensvic. Our tip: Opt for the breakfast package so you can enjoy a buffet at @pullmanonthepark after the flight.
Full moon party front row seats, @sydney style. 🌝 @elisaeves captured this magical moment as these bridge climbers enjoyed the prime view to a mesmerising moonrise on a @bridgeclimb. The ‘twilight climb’ experience takes you to the top of #SydneyHarbourBridge at dusk, so you get the best of both worlds as you soak up the #sunset while the moon takes its night-shift. Bonus: Weekend ‘twilight climbs’ this July and August also come with a ‘sunset session’ live music performance at the top of the bridge, making it extra memorable - that really is music to our ears. 🎶

The beauty of @tasmania’s wilderness definitely peaks at sunset.⛰️😍 @wild_mattiello captured this stunning shot of #BarnBluff during a hike in @visitcradlecoast’s Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park; as you can see, it is an incredibly photogenic landmark along the iconic #OverlandTrack. @greatwalksofoz’s @taswalkingco runs a multi-day guided walking tour on this track that covers all the highlights and optional side trips, complete with transfers, luxe accommodation and a three-course dinner each night - best way to do it, if you ask us.
“Can I hit ‘snooze’ just one more time?” 😴 With a face this cute, we’ll allow it! @gau.zier saw this adorable joey at @hansonbaywildlifesanctuary, a protected wilderness area on @southaustralia’s @authentickangarooisland. Located on 5,000 acres of land, this #wildlife sanctuary is home to native Aussie animals like wallabies, koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, and all types of birds. Book a guided ‘nocturnal adventure tour’ to learn about these animals’ secret nightlife post-sunset, or do the ‘guided koala walk’ for a stroll down the avenues of eucalyptus trees for some koala-spotting.
Warning: Daredevils only. 🙈 @lifecatchme braved the heights at #PulpitRockLookout in #BlueMountains National Park for sweeping views of the magnificent #GroseValley; you know what they say about “the higher the lookout, the higher the rewards”. 😉 This dramatic blade of rock has a set of steep stairs that leads you to three levels of lookouts, providing different vantage points over the gorge and mountains. Put on your best walking shoes and hop in a car in @sydney for the two-hour road trip here, and be ready to get your adrenaline pumping.
