Remember how I told you about that time I failed English? 🙈
Well, that wasn’t the only subject I failed at school. 🤭 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because I categorically SUCKED at Travel and Tourism (yet here I am travelling the world lol). 🤷🏾♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Truth is you are going to fail soooo many times in this lifetime, and probably in the next one too (sorry) 🔮.
Friendships. Relationships. Recipes on Pinterest. 🍲
This is something I also touched on in my digital marketing talk for @effycreative last week. 👩🏾💻
So I’ve come to the conclusion failures are never something to be ashamed of because they make you who you are (Who cares if I can’t follow a map to save my life? )🤣
Without falling forward you’d never find out what/who sets your soul on fire. ☝🏾
And that’s just not a risk I’m willing to take.
Are you? 🤔
Happy Saturday all! I'm currently waiting for hubbie who's on route from Dublin with my fave Thai take away. It's the one thing I miss from our Dublin life is the choice of restaurants. .
Today @houseandhomemagazine @woodesign.ie we are asked to share our #furniturefave Can you guess what my choice is?! Everything mid century! It wins hand down in design, material and storage capacity.
D’you know I never thought the weather affected my mood UNTIL YESTERDAY ☔️☔️☔️☔️🌬🌬🌬🌬😫😫🙈 Jeez that was a struggle. I quite like Winter IN WINTER but this carry on is not acceptable 😂 Anyhoo, been cheering myself up with some colour therapy 🎨🖌My iPhone camera struggles to photograph fluorescent true to colour and no amount of faffing around with editing works. Swipe to see my very satisfying pallet 💕🧡💛💚💙😄
Something green today 😊 crocheted with 0.6mm hook and fine cotton 🌸 I love making these flowers in different colours

#colourmyeveryday Day 5 prompt is BOOMERANG. 💫 Today we’re boomeranging our poor sunflowers (who are looking a bit horizontal after yesterday’s lovely downpour!) back to life with the help of some big sticks 😄🌻🌻🌻👍🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻
Wearable pieces are available in the shop! I’ve been working so hard experimenting with where I want this line to go. I’m still feeling things out, but I’m thrilled with the beauty I’ve created so far. Do you know of a local store or boutique where these pieces might fit? Let me know if you’d be so kind! In the meantime, go shop the link in my bio! 🌿
Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!
We’ve had a great few days here in Margate. A gorgeous @airbnb (not an ad by the way) which was perfect for us as a group of 3 families with young children. The weather has been pretty kind too so the kids have had plenty of time on the beach and we’ve all enjoyed an ice lolly or ice cream too (pictured here is a Concrete Candy ice lolly looking all kinds of fresh in its colourful stripes)
Next stop the Cretian sun ☀️
Blue/Green - a new colour for me, what do you think? Slowly moving away from grey and black. Wearing my freebie sunnies (the guy in the shop thought they were horrible so gave me them for free 🤣.) #livingpositively
'Queen of Hearts'
Another short close up video (without sound!) taken just before loading up my car with all my #paintings going into the Spanish Barn Torre Abbey #gallerywall #exhibition. I will also upload a photo of me next to the painting shortly so you get an idea of the scale of the #canvas #painting. I LOVED painting this lively #dancer and her title only came to me when I was outside in the garden launching paint at the canvas, suddenly the splashes made imaginary symbols or suits from a pack of playing cards appear and I just love it when the #magic happens like that and those happy accidents make my little heart sing!! It is as though she is #dancing her way through a deck of cards, as usual nothing was intentional or planned which always adds to the arty experience for me! #dancedance#danceislife#deckofcards#queenofhearts#redleather#redleatherjacket and #jeans#freestyle#balletdancer#migglet#colourmehappy#devonartist#artlifestyle#devonlife migglet.co.uk with huge thanks to @gioma.balletphotography for your kind permission and inspiration!!! I had a super abundant harvest yesterday and the best way to celebrate abundance is to share abundantly (yes abundance is in fact my favourite word) so I’m giving away 10 zinnia bouquets @chappusfarm 🎉🎉 all you have to do is come by and pick one up (while supplies last, one per person)
I also have fresh cut dahlias and snapdragons available this weekend @chappusfarm and all the houseplants you could ever want @shop.pressuredrop 🌿🌺 It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me spread my flower abundance and tag your flower loving friends 💐💐
At last it's our turn for holidays 😁🌞 Comfort trumps for me today for plane travel, I love this Hush dress with relaxed fit and elastic waist. This is an almost universally flattering shade of blue too, but it's particularly fab if you've got a cool undertone, as I do.
Today’s #ColourMyEveryDay prompt is #FromTheWardrobe 👕
This band t-shirt cushion is a recent upcycle project! I got this @wethekings t-shirt when I saw them live close to 10 years ago. I’m a not a scrawny skinny teenager anymore but couldn’t bare to part with such important merch! Therefore it’s now be repurposed to be an excellent tv-watching-in-bed cushion! 🐻 and bonus rainbow bear
It is possible, to mourn what has been lost, to feel the weight of worry of the future you never expected to have. And to also have a full heart. To feel like you’re floating on a cloud of unbridled joy. To have hope, and faith, that no matter the future; you are safe + you are loved 💕💕💕💕
Another fab colour contrast, this time the citrus colours of Lime and Orange.
These colours are used a lot in ‘healthy’ food packaging along with White to make us think that what we’re eating is healthy (which is not always the case!). These colours work well together in an interior as they sit next door but one to each other on the artist colour wheel, but would work even better with white or a neutral added to them.
Do you like this combo?
Saturday, fun day except for the house working 🙃
Here she is... My new cushion made with Durable Coral from @durableyarn. (pattern will come out soon). Love this yarn and Coral has so many beautiful colours. I could make several of these with different colour combinations. 😍😍😍
💛💙 Thank you so much to everyone for your orders already! I only have a few slots left to keep within my turnaround time, and 15% off ends tomorrow at midnight!
I can also do double poms, just drop a note at checkout if you would like this! 🖤

Hi guys! It’s @erinsummer_ checking in! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Today I have a grid for you that’s an absolute treat for the eyes!
↖️ Julia @rotblaugelb creates a candy coloured arrangement featuring simple plastic utensils. So clever and striking
↗️ Jessica @jess_stempel completely transforms her shot of the Sagrada Familia with an incredible colour edit. What a delight!
↙️ Martha at @the_colour_file finds a beautiful way to display salvaged beach waste- a colourful rainbow grid! I absolutely love the idea of turning trash into treasure.
↘️ Nicole @golden_freckles takes simple candy and turns it into the most delightful arrangement using colour and her imagination. It doesn’t get cuter than this!

I want to slow down time. My kids are growing up way too quick. The only way I can freeze time is through photographs. They tell a story of that moment in time. A wonderful opportunity came along when @Rosieparsons contacted me asking would I be interested in doing a family photo shoot in the comfort of our home. Her aim is to get mums back in photos. To be honest I wasn’t sure if I was totally sold initially as I always felt like I am a little awkward in photos especially when your forced to smile. However, Rosie explained her technique which is not about posed shots but more about a relaxed atmosphere at home doing your every day thing while she captures the moment. It was totally confirmed when I actually went through my camera roll and prints and I realized that I hardly ever appear in photos with my little people.... I’m always the one taking them. Sound familiar?!
So we give it a bash and boy was I glad I did. She made us all feel totally at ease on the day and it was more about the fun factor then the photo taking. I’m truly amazed by the results....the photos are everything I hoped for and way more. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have some amazing moments captured with my little people and my hubbie. I got to freeze time and have amazing photos that tell our everyday story. Our photoshoot was #gifted but we were under no obligation to share
A long, intense and very fun business trip ended at the Unicorn Centre 🦄 Really enjoyed meeting all my clients and learned a lot from this week! #Malta I miss you #casumo#colourmehappy
I was resistant to reworking this design with colourful fish, but I’m so glad I did. Until now, the style I’ve adapted in my work does involve colour, but normally not in the foreground of pieces. Is it silly to say that I’m almost afraid of using colour? It seems very foolish, especially since now I’m surrounded by beautiful rope inventory—yet trepidation still sets in when it comes to using it in my own pieces. What do you think? Are you feeling the more boisterously coloured version of “Cods of Misery”? [Photocred to @tieoneoncreative ]
