THE JOURNEY: When we moved in the rooftop was in total disrepair. The only solution was to strip back the rotting boards and start over again. As the space is so large (200sqm) we split it into three zones with a raised timber deck in the middle (level with the interior living room) and lower tiled wings. Swipe right to see the journey. What are your thoughts?

Recently I threw loads of daikon radish seeds under several of my citrus trees, as the soil under them seemed to be quite compacted. This radish variety is a great cover crop to use over winter. They help decompact the soil as their large tap root penetrates the ground and opens pathways for the tree roots. We can either harvest them or simply let them die back and rot. So we now have loads of #daikon radish to harvest if we want. Do you eat #daikonradish? What’s your favourite way to eat them?
Kimchi! It’s stinky, spicy and so so delicious. Oh and good for your gut microbiome.
This is one of a few containers we now have fermenting on our kitchen bench. I’m glad I was able to preserve my harvest of Chinese cabbage to enjoy later.

The newest plant added to our collection l. Can't wait to design a tropical feature garden around this in our back yard. Giant birds of paradise/Strelitzia Nicolai 🌿🌼🐦 from @owys_garden
Help! What kind of plant is this??? It was labelled as a an Aglaonema (tag in 3rd pic), but I'm curious if anyone knows what type, or any info about it. I could only find one photo that looked similar on Google, but absolutely no clues to what it's name could be. Any help very appreciated plant friends!
