Hold true to yourself. Honor you being-ness, what you’ve OVERCOME, nothing can touch you.
We can always choose self-love over self-doubt. We can always choose to honor the doubt but know our true nature isn’t rooted in the things we can see or even feel. It is the infinite abundance we create by loving ourselves first.
Self-love is your deepest anchor, it’s medicine. It’s the ultimate healer of all lower vibrational thoughts or worries.
A gigantic basket filled with fun pillows is such a great way to dress up an empty corner! The wonderful texture of my new set of pillow covers from @busadesigns is gonna give the perfect dose of cozy for the fall too!
I know we hear about the unpopular opinion of “Monday is my fave day” but really... it is 🙌🏽.
It’s the day where you get to start fresh, plan your whole week ahead and get excited for that weeks events! Personally, I jump out of bed on a Monday morning, all ready to get things started. I love ticking things off my list and feeling productive as the day goes on. It’s a really good feeling starting your week the right way!
Today I woke up and had a chocolate smoothie whilst I got stuck into work. Then I walked the dog to a cafe where I had a coffee break with the lovely @sandyo304 & @gary.olsen.5203 ! Afterwards I headed off to the gym for a workout then back home for a choc berry smoothie bowl and some work on the laptop. By the end of it I am so ready for bed and couldn’t be more excited to see what Tuesday brings 😍
So, if you aren’t feeling like this... then why not? What’s in your way? It’s as easy as shifting your mindset 🌟.
Here at OTF Pleasanton we like to entertain the row team during their distance rows😂 And we love to dance! Go Chris!!🕺Any break dance challengers out there?🙋♂️🙋♀️
This Squirrels 🐿 days are numbered ☝🏻, I’m gonna have me sum squirrel soup. Pops says I’m slow but I can move when I want too... say dinner.. or I hear the word baff or walkies. #running#squirrel#moveitupmonday
Those of you who have followed me for a while know I have a thing for open foyers. I love them! In all the houses I’ve owned though, there has only been one with a large foyer. Large enough for a chest, chair, lamp, pictures, etc. Mine have basically been halls to other rooms. Some think foyers are wasted space and square footage, but I really think they are an introductory to your home no matter how small or creative they have been thought out. A welcome mat and hello to all who enter. This week we will be relaxing at the lake with some family so what better time to scroll and search for great looking spaces and foyers.
To start off the week, I’ve selected this simple but elegant foyer in Atlanta, the city I’ve loved and was raised in. I love the white walls and white furnishings/accessories against the dark wood floors and blue rug. So pretty, not overdone and so welcoming! 📸:@heatherdewberry
Stay tuned for a new foyer pic each day and try to stay cool folks and enjoy the last week or so if your kids are heading back to school soon.
“Summer will end soon enough, and childhood as well.” George R.R. Martin. ————————————
With the start of school next Wednesday I was counting the remaining summers with my youngest. Four more. Four! That’s it - and he will have graduated from high school. And I just recently was blessed with the opportunity to be home with him. He’s 12 1/2 so he isn’t as excited as I am. I have to remind myself that he doesn’t always know what he needs. But, HE knows what he needs - and I’m pretty sure it’s me right now. This little spot speaks Summer to me so I was reminded how quickly it is passing. #timeslowdown -#childhoodsummers #sahmlife#farmhousesummer#homedecorcommunitylove#moveitupmonday#summerfarmhouse#modernfarmhousestyle#bohofarmhouse#simplefarmhouse
🍋 What does your dream bedroom look like? The master bedroom is often the last room that we finish because we feel like no one is ever going to see it, right!? I felt like that too, but when we moved to this house, I wanted to change that thinking and finally create a space that I would love coming into. It’s been six months now and I still love being in my room!
Styling Tip: Good room design often begins with a statement piece. That can be furniture, artwork, or even a rug and pillows! When you find that piece you love, build on it by pulling its colors into the room or by highlighting/contrasting its pattern, shape or texture in the other furnishings. Let me help you design a room you will love! .
For almost a decade, these brick columns sat without a gate, or anything. One day while looking through @southernlivingmag, I saw a gate very similar to this one and saved the issue, in hopes of getting one someday. Eventually, I had a friend build it for me, and it finished off this opening perfectly. I can't believe I waited so long to do it! .
This is from a beautiful sunny day, late last Spring. It's my #moveitupmonday .

I haven't shared a picture of one of our stalls on here for a long time but thought it was about time I did! This was at @fabulousplaces Summer Market a few weeks ago. One of our favourite events! Also there is a mini update over on the website if you fancy a peek ( link in profile) ... I'll put a few pics in stories of what is new!
Have a great start to the new week everyone!
