Getting ready today for a busy weekend! It begins with bday celebrations and ends with a sunset engagement session today & tomorrow is a full day if editing! Here's to plenty of coffee and most likely binging TV shows while I edit! I'd love to know some of your favorite binge shows out right now, help a sister out and comment below! ⬇️
One of my favorite lessons in nature is trust. For all of the constant planning and desire to find crazy views, there’s so many times were intel on a hike or location is extremely minimal. So many times where a long hike in the hot sun with plans to spend a night in the outdoors can lead to a zero view. I’ve been learning to trust in the experience because first off, any time spent outdoors, in the beauty of this planet, is something special, and second off, I don’t think anywhere is truly ugly, it’s just about finding the beauty. On the other hand, a small amount of planning and trust can often lead to something far wilder than what one could’ve hoped for. This hike was a strong reminder of that. Trust in the process and when necessary, find what makes anything worth it.

Hey y’all, it’s me! Whatever your plans this weekend, do them filled with joy! 🌿 I have some groceries to grab, maybe some new headshots, start a new show...the possibilities are endless. Also my husband took these pics and I am so excited for him to start working as my second shooter!
My favorite place in the whole planet is the Pacific north West and this shot amplified its beauty.
A local beauty 🚿 also, what’s up with no waterfall emoji? The PNW sure could use it😂

These days it can be a rarity to be doing just one thing at any given time. How often are we checking our phones when watching a movie, listening to a podcast when driving, reading an article whilst eating, adding things to our never ending to-do lists, or mindlessly scrolling through Instagram during a beautiful sunset? We are so often multi-tasking and nearly always consuming something. It’s one of the reasons I love hiking. It forces me to be focused entirely in the moment... to think about my surroundings, how I’m moving my feet, the weight on my back, the sounds of nature, and the feeling of being truly alive. I find myself getting lost in daydreams and thoughts, and it’s typically where I have my best ideas. My body may be tired at the end of a hiking trip but my mind is usually buzzing with creative energy and aspirations ✨ Does anyone else experience the same thing?
Traded in my backpack for something a little lighter😍
