I was running late on my way into work today. When I was getting up to leave the train at Bloor Yonge a young man with down syndrome smiled at me, I smiled back. He grinned and pointed towards the subway door and said "so so cute". I followed his arm in the direction he pointed but all I could see was the back of the dress pants of a man standing by the door. I didn't look back towards him embarrassed for him and confused. When we arrived at the station, everyone began to exit, the man stepped away and an adorable little puppy was revealed on the floor beside the doorway. I chuckled, it was so so cute.

🙅🏻♀️🚫We can't keep polluting our planet. We can't keep using single-use plastic and expecting everything to be okay. Where do we think everything is going? It's headed to our oceans, seeping into our ground, our fresh water. It's killing us slowly. 🌱
As citizens and community members, we need to be conscious of our efforts. Pack a reusable fork for lunch, don't take a plastic one.
Purchase responsibly. @mealinajar uses glass and is 100% recyclable. Think the next time you need a quick meal, or take out, instead of take-out containers and styrofoam that cannot be recycled, opt for glass containers or reusable ones.

If you're unsure of the difference between playing, assertion or aggression watch this more than once.
This is assertion.
With less intensity it can look like play.
At this level it can look like aggression.
However, notice the opportunity to bite and puncture is an option.
Most of the interaction has little contact.
Another way to distinguish between assertion and aggression.
When the dogs break apart they are still okay in close proximity.
If it was aggression they would continue and fight.
Dogs have to assert in certain situations to create boundaries.
They can't talk it out.
If you are unsure what it is if it is easy to stop the dogs it was assertion.
If it was difficult it was aggression.
Most dogs do NOT want to fight when there are other options.

I’m a huge fan of smiley eyes and big belly laughs😂💛
Both of which I’ve been having a lot of lately. After an off-putting month (or two), I finally feel on top of my shit and I’m totally owning it. It’s crazy how a few simple changes can quickly have you feeling so much better mentally, physically, and emotionally. .
I’ve been spending more time at the gym, going out and enjoying the sunshine, and believe it or not, seeing a therapist - Which has given me a whole new unbiased perspective on things. Im a person that holds onto things for far too long - and it’s time to let the negative stuff go!
Feel free to rip on me for being super cliche but since the sun just came out in Toronto - here’s to a summer of positive vibes and doing things for yourself above all🌞👌🏼💛
